The Iowa State Fair Photo Competition is one of the largest of its kind in the United States. Have you ever wondered what it takes to get your own photos accepted for display? Charley Starnes, the Photography Salon Superintendent, will discuss what it takes for you to have your photos on display this year! Mr. Starnes’ presentation will cover the history of the Photography Salon, how to enter, the entry rules, the different divisions and classes that you can enter, the judging process, and tips for entering your own photos. *Sponsored by the Four Seasons Photo Club.

Stitch a four-patch. Run a sewing machine. Sew on a button. Create a mug rug, pet bed, placemat or bag. Fabric, machines and supplies provided. Come and go as you please. (Ages 8-18)
